Hameshaw's Comet was a comet and was said to have been a spectacular sight to all those who saw it. The comet was first discovered in 2,015 BBY when the scientist Dr. Hameshaw, for whom it was named, saw it and predicted its eventual return. When it did return to the previously known point, it impacted with the planet Kelvia.
