Prior to her appearance on Star Trek, Foster had a featured part in the horror film Night of the Living Dead (1990, with Patricia Tallman, Tony Todd, and Tom Towles) and guest roles in episodes of Saved by the Bell (1991, with Lark Voorhies) and Reasonable Doubts (1992, with Leslie Jordan and Fionnula Flanagan).
