B.I.S.T., more commonly written BIST, stands for Behavioral Intervention Support Team. BIST is a behavioral modification system marketed by Ozanam to school districts throughout the Midwest. It was originally designed for use with troubled teens in a reform school environment. It is also related to, and perhaps developed from, PBS programs which were designed for use with at-risk/special-needs students.
