The Assault Cannon is a weapon introduced in Team Fortress, used by the Heavy Weapons Guy. It is somewhat a fully-automatic shotgun, because it fires 5 pellets per shot, at a very high rate to do massive damage. It also spreads more than the Shotgun, making it ineffective at long ranges. The Assault Cannon shares Shells with the Shotgun and Super Shotgun.
