General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross is a character in Marvel Comics. He is the father of Betty Ross, and has chased the Hulk for years. When Betty agreed to marry Bruce he was furious. He shot a gun, but it hit Rick Jones, who is also the A-Bomb, the second Abomination. Betty told her father to let her do what she wants. General Ross appeared to be helping the Red Hulk, AKA Leonard Samson. It later turns out that the Red Hulk and Rulk were both General Ross. The Rulk version of Ross had also fought the Hulk twice. The Rulk had succeeded in the first battle of the brawns but Hulk had somehow devised a tactical strategy and had defeated The Rulk the second time.
