A Brief History How did you get started? After the Democratic National Convention in July, 2004 several progressives returned to Washington State energized about the newly-formed Progressive Democrats of America (www.pdamerica.org). Several of them wanted to form a Progressive Caucus within the Democratic Party here in Washington State. They put together a proposal for the Progressive Democratic Caucuses of Washington and shopped it around to former Kucinich and Dean supporters they had met during the 2004 Presidential Primary campaign.
