Hikarakuyō was built by Kanetsugu Soga upon being commissioned by Akiyama Soga on request from the Raikage. Meant to rival the Seven Mist Swords, Hikarakuyō is modeled after the famous Chakra Cannon used by Kumogakure during the Moons Fall Event. Being forged from various rare metals found within Takumi Village, along with the piece Kubikiribōchō that was split into two by the Fourth Raikage. Taking a total of four years to create, it was wielded by Akiyama who passed it onto her niece, Fūgetsu Soga upon becoming a diplomat of Kumogakure. Hikarakuyō is a large elegantly designed blue and gold, with a silver blade. It is know to be a relatively heavy weapon due to its large size.
