The Bajoran First Republic was an era on Bajor. In late 2371, Cpt. Benjamin Sisko attended the re-opening of a museum on Bajor that contained manuscripts written before the fall of the First Republic. (DS9: "Explorers") Although the blueprints Cpt. Sisko subsequently used to reconstruct a 16th century-lightship were implied to be from the same museum, the time period of the First Republic was never mentioned.
