Team Odaya preferably called as Team Arubin, is a team led by Odaya Arubin and was formed after the members became genin. Seeing as how they both are jinchūriki, Asterr Gairo and Yasai were placed under Odaya in the hopes of suppressing their Tailed Beasts with her Wood Release. The second reason their team was chosen was because of Asterr's lack of control of his Scorch Release. Odaya, Yasai and Kanna Shitsuji, all know Water Release, which would be used if Asterr lost control of his Scorch Release Chakra.
