They had 102 drivers and 42 cars, all of which were equipped with cellphones so a dispatcher could assign them clients. Arnie Cox was a driver for Smooth Ride who, during the course of one job, murdered Emily Trudeau while searching for information at the home of Peter Blakemore at the behest of Raoul Sabatelli.
