Teng Haibin was born on January 2, 1985 in Beijing China. Teng was a member of the 2004 Chinese Men's Gymnastic Team at Athens Olympics. Teng had several terrible performances during the team final that cost the Chinese men a medal. Teng was able to rebound in the event finals to win a gold medal on the pommel horse. Teng was to be a member for the 2012 Chinese Men Gymnastic team in London, but tore a muscle before the games, and did not compete.
