In Dead Rising 2 lighting is controlled in the .cvs files found in datafile.big. An estimated 90% of the .csv files in the datafile.big file are lighting commands. The .cvs files control the sources of light in the area. More specifically the lights actually in the game, such as electric signs and overhanging lights. For example. If a modder changes all the entries in the red matrix to 9 in Safehouse.cvs, then change all the green and blue matrix entries to 0, all the lights will be a bright neon red. There 111 csv. files, wich are divided in three different types:
