Benjamin Sisko owned a 2,000-year old Yoruba mask which he brought to Deep Space 9 in 2371 when he returned from Starfleet with the USS Defiant. Jake Sisko said that when his father finally brought the mask and other items in Sisko's African art collection out of storage on Earth to DS9, it meant that the station was now officially their "home."
