Jeanine Matthews is the main antagonist of the Divergent trilogy up until her death in Insurgent. She is the leader of the faction Erudite solely because of her IQ score, and the ringleader behind the Erudite/Dauntless alliance against the Abnegation. In the movie adapation, she was portrayed by who would also portray Irina Vlaslov.
