Confessor Group was an elite starfighter squadron often tasked with leading other squadrons in combat for the CIS Navy during the Clone Wars. The unit was named after a Geonosian martial arts melee weapon called a "confessor's whip". Confessor Group was equipped with Nantex-class starfighters armed with proton torpedoes and outfitted with enhanced laser cannon targeting systems.
