Charter Magic is the magic of Mages and Humans - it is Free Magic bound with symbols. It exists because of the power of the Seven which bound most of the Free Magic into Charter Magic. It is can accessed predominatly in the Old Kingdom, but is also available in Ancelstierre, as long as you are close to the wall and the wind comes from the Old Kingdom. Alternatively, you can access it near a source of Magic (Powerful Free Magic Creatures (like the seven), the Great Charter Stones and the minor Stones).
