Pilditch, Philip Edward Born 12 August 1861 died 17 December 1948 Vice Chairman London County Council 1913 – 1914. MP for Spelthorne division of Middlesex 1918-31, Devon. Architect and surveyor – head of firm of Pilditch, Chadwick and Company: detailed knowledge of law of landlord and tenant, which was highly valued in House of Commons. 1907-1919 member of the London County Council, during which he was Chairman of the Parliamentary and local government committees.
