Waites was the name of the butler who worked for Jeremy Hartwood and his father at Derceto. He was never seen in-game and was only mentioned in Jeremy's Notebook. In the notebook, it mentions that the butler found a crack in the cellar that led to the caverns where Howard Hartwood died. He also revealed later that Howard died after blood loss from biting his tongue off, after the doctor said that Howard died from a heart attack.
