Raphael "Raph" Koster (sometimes credited as Ralph Koster or Coster) is a game designer. He worked as the creative director of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided from the year 2000 to 2003, then went on to act as Chief Creative Officer of Sony Online Entertainment until 2006. Koster is a charter member of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. He is a frequent speaker at various video game industry conferences and expos, including the Game Developers Conference and the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
