Samukai appeared in The Great Invasion! Despite fighting on his own, he seeks for Yveltal to assist him. In the end of the episode, he was badly damaged by a combination attacks from all the Pokémon commanded by the trainers, then he was killed by Flurr by crushing him by his foot.
