Max Smithson was the editor of the magazine MEGASURPRISE. Smithson allegedly sent an optical disc containing Nastasha Romanenko's account of the Shadow Moses Incident to journalist Gary McGolden. However, his editor's note for McGolden's article, The Shocking Conspiracy Behind Shadow Moses, revealed that, although what McGolden had said for most part was true, he wasn't the one who had sent the disc to him.
