The EX370FM has a solid wood body with a flame maple top bolted to a one-piece maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with triangle position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions flanking a single coil, a double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. The humbuckers are mounted with pickup rings. The EX370FM has gold-tone hardware. For the US market, the EX370FM's body is basswood; European EX370FMs are made of alder. In 1993 US-spec EX370FMs got a new 24-fret neck.
