Azalus Station began construction in 157 ABY. Cappa paid millions of credits to construct this second lair, which was originally going to be used to protect his true base of operations on Kaldus. But later, Cappa was betrayed when a bounty hunter tried to kill him. This lead him to try to discover a way to have completely loyal minions. This went nowhere until 162 ABY, when a Kaminoan was kidnapped for her cloning knowledge, and a wing of the station was refitted as a cloning facility.
