In September 2155, Interceptor was part of a six-ship task-force led by the imperial flagship USS Defiant, to recover Empress of the Terran Empire Hoshi Sato from an anti-Terran rebel stronghold. The task force found Sato on Aldus Prime. The Vulcan, Orion and Tellarite rebel forces outnumbered the task force nearly three to one, and a battle ensued. During the battle, Interceptor and ISS Dauntless lured rebels away from Defiant by circling the north pole of Aldus Prime. Later, Interceptor engaged two Orion marauders.
