Rosemary Venetia King (née Oakwell, previously Sinclair) first appeared in early 2006. She is the mother of Grayson and Alasdair Sinclair, and her family was very wealthy. The last member of the Sinclair family to be introduced, she disapproved of Alasdair's fiancée Sadie King. Rosemary returned to the village in August, where it appeared she lived at Oakwell Hall with her son Grayson and daughter-in-law Perdy. Rosemary made friends with Rodney Blackstock and Tom King .
