Only one teacher may be working in a Schoolhouse at a time, and only one student may be taught at a time. In FreeCol, you may select which colonist will be the student. (The student must be working somewhere in the colony, either indoors or outdoors. This work takes place at the same time as the teaching.) The Schoolhouse requires a population of 4, and costs 64 Hammers. It may be upgraded to a College and then to a University.
