The Intermediary Grimoire is appears in BlazBlue: Remix Heart. It can copy an ability from one person or creature and pass it on to another. This grimoire is not an object, but rather a person; in this case Mai Natsume. Mai became the Intermediary Grimoire after she absorbed the fragment of the Azure contained within the Adsequi Grimoire, which then interacted with the Nameless Grimoire. An example of that ability in action was Mai eating Noel's food and then accidentally passing Noel's cooking ability to Taro Sasagae temporarily. Mai ceased to be the Intermediary Grimoire after the Azure fragment she had absorbed was removed from her body.
