Aside from being sharp and powerful, the sword is apparently indestructible, and, according to Katamaru, even if it breaks, it can regenerate, as long as its hilt is kept. It is also a cursed sword, as a payment for its power. It is said that those that possess it suffer painful deaths and live a life of regret and sadness.
