After fighting and defeating Walnut, who had been following Marona in order to complete the last bit of her job and take the reward for himself, Marona and Ash return to the elder of the Promontory, only for the elder to reveal that Walnut had arrived and told her all about Marona's "curse." After accusing Marona of being a liar, having hidden her cursed status, she gives Walnut the reward for the job anyway, and tells Marona to leave.
