Kellen Varundle was born on Borel III in 58 BBY. He was a direct descendant of Garrison Varundle, a hero of the Borellian Civil War. He would become the Senator of Borel. He was a supporter of the Jedi Order and sided with fellow senator Magnum Rockwater on many occasions. He was a politician throughout the Coo-Neo Crisis, leading up to the conclusion of the Great Galactic War. His role was unimportant until after the Great Galactic War, according to many historians.
