The Race::2008 Jay C Food Stores 100 was a CRA Super Series event held at Track::Salem Speedway on August 16, 2008. Former series champ Chuck Barnes, Jr. returned to the series and came away with a victory, leading the final 63 laps as he fended off Zach Taylor the trophy. Eventual season champ Scott Hantz turned in another fine performance, placing fifth. Due to issues prior to the start of the main event, Aaron Pierce had to withdraw from the event and was ultimately counted as a non-qualifier.
