John Banaszak (born August 24, 1950) is a former professional football player with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1975 to 1981. He is a three-time Super Bowl Champion. Banaszak was a starter at right defensive end for the Steelers in Super Bowls XIII and XIV. He later played in the USFL. Won the 1983 USFL Championship as a starting Defensive End for the Michigan Panthers. Played for Michigan in 1983 and 84, and 1985 for the Memphis Showboats. He is currently an assistant football coach under Joe Walton at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh.
