The name Cort Stasus has been heard on more than one occasion in New Republic space. However, it seems that most of the rumors surrounding the young gambler began upon the city-planet of Coruscant. Within a weeks time, Cort had amassed a small fortune at the White Knight, winning nearly every hand of whichever game he had chose to play that night. His "luck" brought the attention of many individuals, giving him a small amount of fame upon the planet. The most notable being the White Knight's security team and the Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker. Oddly enough, some rumors indicate that he had given away a good chunk of his winnings to local charities.
