Conception Bay South (referred to as C.B.S. by area residents) is a town located along the southern shore of Conception Bay on the Avalon Peninsula of the island of Newfoundland in Newfoundland and Labrador. The town has a population of nearly 25,000 making it the second largest community in the province after St. John's.
