This is a fictional timeline of the Shadowrun role-playing game. The timeline has been expanded as new material is released by the various producers of Shadowrun. The 2007 Shadowrun video game takes place in its own continuity. Several key events of the history of Shadowrun were unveiled over the course of several novels, as well as adventure modules and source books, such as the election of the dragon Dunkelzahn to the presidency of the United Canadian and American States and his subsequent assassination.
