The Silent Garden inn served as a secret gambling house in Nanashi Mura. There was one other gambling house but it was not as nice as the Silent Garden. It contained a beautifully maintained story garden that the guests were free to wonder through. In 1125 the owner was Monaka. In 1170 the owner was a former Phoenix diplomat named Hiei.
