The Hito Water Gardens was the attempt to duplicate of the Imperial Water Gardens within the Forbidden City, so the populace could partake of the Emperor's glory. The garden was not drawn by kami as the Imperial one, so the artisans did not understood the original pattern and caused some flaws in the design. It was located in the Hito district of Otosan Uchi and the water came from the River of the Sun.
