The Borda Count is a voting system where voters are asked to number the candidates in order of preference. Where there are n candidates, each candidate receives: * n points for every time they are listed as a first preference * n-1 points for every second preference * n-2 points for ever third preference (and so on...) * 1 point for every last preference In a single position election the candidate with the most points is the winner.
