De'Rodd Hearns is an American actor and editorial assistant. He has worked as a production assistant on The Wire. He has a recurring role as Barksdale drug dealer Puddin in the first three seasons and is often seen with Bodie Broadus. He is the son of Fran Boyd and half brother of DeAndre McCullough and his family were the subjects of David Simon's non-fiction book The Corner: A Year in the Life of an Inner-City Neighborhood. Sylvester Lee Kirk played a fictionalized version of De'Rodd in The Corner. De'Rodd himself had a cameo in The Corner as Ronald.
