The Interstellar Union of Intelligent Species was the unification of sentient species from various planets across the Milky Way Galaxy. It was founded in the year 2152CE by the Human and Prem races. In 2160CE, the Vel'takz race was added to the Union. By the year 3000CE, the Milky Way is completely unified.
