Balut was a colony League World planet. It seems it was ruled by a Patriarch. In 164 BG, the colony was devastated by Jipol and Tlulaxa slavers led by Iblis Ginjo, to use for the organ farms. The ships came at night and bombarded the central village, sprayed paralytic gas. They took several captives alive for slaves and killed a handful of citizens for good measure, just so they could strew the slaughtered bodies around, leaving destroyed combat robots so that the League of Nobles believe it was a result of Thinking Machine attack.
