Sandríne was the owner of Chez Sandríne in Marseille, France on Earth. The bar was run by her family for more than six hundred years. To recall his time spent at Chez Sandríne, Tom Paris created a holographic replica of the bar aboard the USS Voyager. He also created a holographic version of Sandrine. The holographic Sandrine flattered Paris and became jealous when another holographic character named Ricky had designs on Paris. Sandrine then attempted to seduce Harry Kim. She told Kim that he had a lot to learn, and that she had a lot to teach him. (VOY: "The Cloud")
