Patrick Joseph McGuinness (born 14th August 1973 in Farnworth, Lancashire) is a comedian, television presenter and actor who appeared in Coronation Street as Dougie Ryan in August 2015. Paddy made his television debut in 1997 as a contestant for the show God's Gift. He later appeared in Peter Kay's sitcom Phoenix Nights and the subsequent spin-off Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere, which in turn led to his successful television presenting career.
