The Trader Rosalyn is the title given to the current female head trader of the Rosalyn fleet. The original Trader Rosalyn was Rosalyn who ensured the title be passed down through the Rosalyn Trust, as outlined in the Rosalyn Trust Deed. The winner of the competition would become the Trader Rosalyn's Apprentice and eventually become the Trader Rosalyn herself.
