A force pike is a meter long weapon that includes a slim hilt and blade that is charged with a type of energy, which runs in a closed electrical circuit. When the blade connects with skin it is capable of cauterization, or even severing straight through a limb, though most damage is taken through electicution. However, a force pike has more than one advantage: it has the ability to discharge a bolt of energy at range and parry a lightsaber, the chosen weapon of the Jedi.
