A hydrogen-helium gas giant, Metaponto has developed a helium-3 fueling station funded by elcor business interests who hope to bring enough attention to the system to attract terraforming investors and thus eventually develop Volturno as a habitable world. Thus far, they have met with little success. Metaponto is known for having moderate amounts of palladium, platinum and iridium.
