The Free Democrats Leadership Election 3915 was held following the resignation of Emily Creasy as leader due to poor health, following the death of her mother and work related stress. Creasy didn't stay on as leader while the election took place, for those reasons too. Two candidates put their names forward, Christian Mulcair who had replaced Creasy as Minister of Internal Affairs, and Anthony Kendall who was the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time.
