The hupia are undead spirits from the Taino culture. Shapeshifters, the hupia have no definite form, but often appear as faceless humans. They may also appear in the form of a dead relative, but can be distinguished by their distinct lack of a naval. The hupia are associated with bats, and will likewise sleep in caves during the day to emerge only at night. The hupia are known to seduce women who wander alone at night, and will kidnap indiscriminately. Image:Chinese dragon icon.png This article is a stub. You can help by [ expanding it].
