These are daggers used by the spider, Arakuregumo. She wields them by sticking her legs through the ring at the base, in a bayonet-like fashion. They allow her to fend off enemies with brute force, instead of the usual cunning that a spider possesses. This suits Arakuregumo just fine, as she often has an aggressive personality.
