It is not a threat, but has fairly high HP for the point in the game it is met. The party should use any magic they have learned like Thunder or [[Magic (Final Fantasy VI command)]Fire|Fire]]. Locke can steal a Tiger Mask, a powerful helmet for Sabin and Gau, from it.
